Configuring Network Sensor SSH Service
The Secure Shell (SSH) is a security protocol used to connect to remote hosts. You can control the SSH service function of network sensors.
To configure SSH service activation for the network sensor
- Go to System in the top panel
- Go to System > System in the left panel.
- Select the checkbox for the network sensor settings you want to change.
- Select Edit Appliance Settings from the Tasks menu.
- In the Security item, select the Enable SSH checkbox and change the setting to ON.
- Click Save botton.
To configure SSH service access control for the network sensor
Note
Network sensor Enable SSH must be set to ON.
- Go to System in the top panel
- Go to System > Sensor in the left panel
- Select the checkbox for the network sensor settings you want to change.
- Select Edit Network Sensor Settings from the Tasks menu.
- In the Miscellaneous item, select the Disable access SSH checkbox and change the setting to ON.
- Click Save botton.
