Using Device Usage Application Form

For devices controlled via device control, you can use the device usage application form to make exceptions for administrator-approved targets.

Device Usage Application Form - Required Settings

To use the device usage application form, the following options must be configured as mandatory in the device control plugin:

Item	Description
Device Blocking Notification	If a controlled device exists, displays whether it is blocked via an agent pop-up message.
Device Usage Application Form	Provides the device usage application form via the device blocking notification pop-up message.

Device Usage Application Form - Additional Settings

These settings display additional options, unrelated to activating the device usage application form function.

Item	Description
Use on All Nodes	Displays the usage scope option, allowing selection of devices that can use the device.
Auto Approve Device Application	Allows applications to be automatically approved upon submission without separate administrator confirmation.
Max Device Application Period	Sets the maximum period for which the device can be used when submitting an application.
User Password Confirmation	Confirms the password for the user account when submitting an application.
