Using Hierarchical Approval
============================

In the application and approval process of the Genian NAC application system, the approval process can be finely divided and used in stages.

Performing Hierarchical Approval
-----------------------------------

Approve the application corresponding to the administrator account's approval stage.

#. Go to **Management > Application** in the top panel.
#. In the left **IP Usage Application** menu, select **Hierarchical Approval**.
#. Select the **Application Item** to approve. **(New IP, IP Return, Device Change, User Change)**
#. Click the **Approve** button for the application item.

Performing Pre-Approval
------------------------------

Approve applications for steps before and after the administrator's approval stage using the priority approval function.

.. note:: If an approval request is delayed due to the absence of an administrator at the approval stage, you can use the priority approval function.

#. Go to **Management > Application** in the top panel.
#. In the left **IP Usage Application** menu, select **Hierarchical Approval**.
#. Select the **Application Item** to approve. **(New IP, IP Return, Device Change, User Change)**
#. Select the **Category** item. **(Previous Stage, Next Stage)**
#. In the **Select Tasks** menu, select **Priority Approval**.
