Role-Based Multiple Access Administrators

  1. Go to Preferences in the top panel

  2. Go to User Authentication > Administrator Role in left tree panel

  3. Find Pre-defined Role-Based Multiple Access Administrators - auditor, domainAdmin, ipAppManager, ipManager, logAuditor, mediaManager, nodeAuditor, nodeManager, userManager

  4. Select the appropriate administrative role and Click

    1. Menu Restriction check box on appropriate menu

    2. Click Enable Role

Add New Admin Role

A new administrative role can be created that limits restricted menus and access rights.

  1. Go to Preferences in the top panel

  2. Go to User Authentication > Administrator Role in left tree panel

  3. Click Tasks > Create to add new admin role

  4. For Admin Role ID enter name of admin role

  5. For Status Select Enabled or Disabled

  6. Check box Menu Restriction for menu-based access restrictions

  7. Select and Check box on appropriate menu

  8. Select Permission Settings for each Function as Allow Read, Allow Modify, Allow Modify/Add or Allow Full-control

  9. Click Save the button at the bottom
