Using Hierarchical Approval

In the application and approval process of the Genian NAC application system, the approval process can be finely divided and used in stages.

Performing Hierarchical Approval

Approve the application corresponding to the administrator account's approval stage.

  1. Go to Management > Application in the top panel.
  2. In the left IP Usage Application menu, select Hierarchical Approval.
  3. Select the Application Item to approve. (New IP, IP Return, Device Change, User Change)
  4. Click the Approve button for the application item.

Performing Pre-Approval

Approve applications for steps before and after the administrator's approval stage using the priority approval function.

Note

If an approval request is delayed due to the absence of an administrator at the approval stage, you can use the priority approval function.

  1. Go to Management > Application in the top panel.
  2. In the left IP Usage Application menu, select Hierarchical Approval.
  3. Select the Application Item to approve. (New IP, IP Return, Device Change, User Change)
  4. Select the Category item. (Previous Stage, Next Stage)
  5. In the Select Tasks menu, select Priority Approval.
