Controlling Screen Lock

Collects and controls settings for desktop and screen saver. Provides features to enforce corporate standard desktop and screen saver regulations.

  1. Go to Policy in the top menu.
  2. In the left Policy menu, go to Policy > Node Policy > Node Action.
  3. In the Node Action management window, find and click Controlling Screen Lock.

Below are Basic Settings.

  1. For CWP Message, add a message to display according to the policy.
  2. For Label, adding a label allows you to categorize the plugin with a custom label displayed in the "Description" input field.

Below are Plugin Settings.

  1. In Collect Screen Saver Information, set the On option to collect information about the screen saver settings in use.
  2. In Screen Saver Control, set On to configure the idle time.
    • Idle Time: Sets the idle time before switching to the screen saver. (Minutes - Hours)
    • Set Fix Idle Time to On to change the idle time even if the idle time used on the PC is shorter than the time set by the administrator.
  3. Click the Modify button.
  4. In the left Policy menu, go to Node Policy.
  5. Click the Node Policy you wish to apply.
  6. Find Node Action Settings and click Assign.
  7. In the Available items, find Controlling Screen Lock and drag it to the Selected items.
  8. Click the Add button.
  9. Click the Modify button.
