Uninstall Programs
Uninstall specific removable programs registered in the Control Panel's Add/Uninstall Programs. Controls software on Windows endpoints by removing unauthorized programs.
- Unauthorized software deletion
- Go to Policy in the top menu.
- In the left Policy menu, go to Policy > Node Policy > Node Action.
- In the Node Action management window, find and click Program Removal.
Below are Basic Settings.
- For CWP Message, add a message to display according to the policy.
- For Label, adding a label allows you to categorize the plugin with a custom label displayed in the "Description" input field.
Below are Action Execution Settings.
- For Condition Operator, select AND or OR to add selection conditions.
- For Condition Settings, click Add and configure options in the Condition Settings window: Item / Condition / Setting.
Below are Plugin Settings.
- For Program Name, set the name of the program to Uninstall from those registered in the Control Panel's Add/Uninstall Programs.
- Notification Before Deletion: Set whether to display a message to the user before program deletion.
- Message Content: Enter the message to be displayed to the user before program deletion.
- Execution Account: Set the execution account to use for program removal.
- For Reboot Option, select whether to notify the user or perform automatic reboot.
- Execution Cycle performs the action at the set interval. (Seconds - Months)
- Click the Modify button.
- In the left Policy menu, go to Node Policy.
- Click the Node Policy you wish to apply.
- Find Node Action Settings and click Assign.
- In the Available items, find Program Removal and drag it to the Selected items.
- Click the Add button.
- Click the Modify button.
