Uninstall Programs

Uninstall specific removable programs registered in the Control Panel's Add/Uninstall Programs. Controls software on Windows endpoints by removing unauthorized programs.

  • Unauthorized software deletion
  1. Go to Policy in the top menu.
  2. In the left Policy menu, go to Policy > Node Policy > Node Action.
  3. In the Node Action management window, find and click Program Removal.

Below are Basic Settings.

  1. For CWP Message, add a message to display according to the policy.
  2. For Label, adding a label allows you to categorize the plugin with a custom label displayed in the "Description" input field.

Below are Action Execution Settings.

  1. For Condition Operator, select AND or OR to add selection conditions.
  2. For Condition Settings, click Add and configure options in the Condition Settings window: Item / Condition / Setting.

Below are Plugin Settings.

  1. For Program Name, set the name of the program to Uninstall from those registered in the Control Panel's Add/Uninstall Programs.
  2. Notification Before Deletion: Set whether to display a message to the user before program deletion.
    • Message Content: Enter the message to be displayed to the user before program deletion.
  3. Execution Account: Set the execution account to use for program removal.
  4. For Reboot Option, select whether to notify the user or perform automatic reboot.
  5. Execution Cycle performs the action at the set interval. (Seconds - Months)
  6. Click the Modify button.
  7. In the left Policy menu, go to Node Policy.
  8. Click the Node Policy you wish to apply.
  9. Find Node Action Settings and click Assign.
  10. In the Available items, find Program Removal and drag it to the Selected items.
  11. Click the Add button.
  12. Click the Modify button.
