System shutdown and reboot

Warning

To avoid damaging the System, do not manually power off the device before removing power to the device or properly shutting down service.

Power Control via Command Line Interface (CLI)

1. Connect to the Policy Server through the Command Line Interface (CLI).

2. Go to Global Configuration mode.

3. work:

   • Reboot: Enter the command restart system or reboot
   • Shutdown: Enter command shutdown or halt

Note

After performing the shutdown command, the device will remain powered on, but it is safe to power off manually.
