Viewing Network Object Details

A Network Object defines the destination Host that the target endpoint attempts to communicate with.

Item Sub-Item Description
General   Enter the ID and description to designate the object.
Included Group   Configure whether to include existing network objects.
Network Address IP/Netmask Enter the network address in CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) format.
Range Enter the network address in range format.
FQDN Enter the network address as a domain name including the final hostname in the Namespace hierarchy.

Viewing Service Object Details

A Service Object defines the protocol and service port that the target endpoint attempts to communicate with the destination.

Item Sub-Item Description
General   Enter the ID and description to designate the object.
Included Group   Configure whether to include existing service objects.
Service Port ALL An item that includes all of ICMP+TCP+UDP.
ICMP An item that provides ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol), used for diagnosing and controlling transmission status.
TCP An item that provides TCP (Transmission Control Protocol), used to specify ports for connection- oriented communication.
UDP An item that provides UDP (User Datagram Protocol), used to specify ports for message-exchanging communication.

Viewing Time Object Details

A Time Object defines the period (time) during which authorization is provided for the target endpoint.

Item Sub-Item Description
General   Enter the ID and description to designate the object.
Included Group   Configure whether to include existing time objects.
Time Object Date Sets the time based on a period.
Time Zone Sets the time range in detail from 00:00 to 23:55.
Day of Week Sets the time based on the day of the week (Monday-Sunday).
