Collecting Network Information
Displays network interface information in node information. Provides visibility to administrators, enabling its use in network control.
- Monitors interface information to detect unauthorized hardware or interface information.
Step1: Configure Node Action
- Go to Policy in the top menu.
- In the left menu tree, go to Policy > Node Policy > Node Action.
- In the top Operating System dropdown menu, select Linux.
- In the Node Action list, find and click Collecting Network Information.
- For CWP Message, add a message to display according to the policy.
- For Label, adding a label allows you to categorize the plugin with a custom label displayed in the "Description" input field.
- The Network Collection plugin automatically collects information upon installation on the endpoint, without separate plugin settings.
Step2: Assign Node Action to Node Policy
- In the left Policy menu, go to Node Policy.
- Click the Node Policy you wish to apply.
- Find Node Action Settings and click
Assign
. - In the Available items, find Collecting Network Information and drag it to the Selected items.
- Click the
Add
button. - Click the
Modify
button.
