Collecting Software Information

Collects software information installed on endpoints and displays it in Node Details [Software Information]-[Software List].

• Collects a list of software installed on endpoints to verify unauthorized software installation.
• Classifies endpoints with specific software uninstalled or installed, utilizing this for policy application.

Step1: Configure Node Action

1. Go to Policy in the top menu.
2. In the left menu tree, go to Policy > Node Policy > Node Action.
3. In the top Operating System dropdown menu, select Linux.
4. For CWP Message, add a message to display according to the policy.
5. For Label, adding a label allows you to categorize the plugin with a custom label displayed in the "Description" input field.

Step2: Apply Node Action to Node Policy

1. In the left Policy menu, go to Node Policy.
2. Click the Node Policy you wish to apply.
3. Find Node Action Settings and click Assign.
4. In the Available items, find Collecting Software Information and drag it to the Selected items.
5. Click the Add button.
6. Click the Modify button.
