Collecting Hardware Information
Collects motherboard information, memory information, and storage device information and displays it in node information. The Policy Server communicates with the agent to collect information such as the endpoint's CPU, memory, and storage devices.
- Collects hardware usage information to manage system resources.
- Updates cycle for each hardware usage information.
Step1: Configure Node Action
Go to Policy in the top menu.
In the left menu tree, go to Policy > Node Policy > Node Action.
In the top Operating System dropdown menu, select Linux.
In the Node Action list, find and click Collecting Hardware Information.
For CWP Message, add a message to display according to the policy.
For Label, adding a label allows you to categorize the plugin with a custom label displayed in the "Description" input field.
For CPU Update Minimum Ratio, information is sent if the last transmitted CPU usage differs from current usage by more than the set ratio.
For Memory Update Minimum Ratio, information is sent if the last transmitted memory usage differs from current usage by more than the set ratio.
For Storage Device Update Minimum Ratio, information is sent if the last transmitted storage device usage differs from current usage by more than the set ratio.
Execution Cycle is always performed, updating if data changes at 10-minute intervals.
Note
The information update setting ratio is calculated based on total capacity.
Step2: Apply Node Action to Node Policy
- In the left Policy menu, go to Node Policy.
- Click the Node Policy you wish to apply.
- Find Node Action Settings and click
Assign
. - In the Available items, find Collecting Hardware Information and drag it to the Selected items.
- Click the
Add
button. - Click the
Modify
button.
