Controlling Network Interface
Provides the function to control wired and wireless interfaces of endpoints.
- Administrator defines wired and wireless blocking policies to control the endpoint's network interface.
- Go to Policy in the top menu.
- In the left menu tree, go to Policy > Node Policy > Node Action.
- In the top Operating System dropdown menu, select Linux.
- In the Node Action list, find and click Controlling Network Interface.
Below are Basic Settings.
- For CWP Message, add a message to display according to the policy.
- For Label, adding a label allows you to categorize the plugin with a custom label displayed in the "Description" input field.
Below are Action Execution Settings.
- For Block by Type, specify the network type to disable.
- No Control: Does not control any interfaces of the endpoint.
- All: Blocks both wired and wireless interfaces of the endpoint.
- Wired: Blocks the wired interface of the endpoint.
- Wireless: Blocks the wireless interface of the endpoint.
- Click the Modify button.
- In the left Policy menu, go to Node Policy.
- In the Node Policy window, click Default Policy.
- Find Node Action Settings and click the Assign button.
- In the Available items, find Controlling Network Interface and drag it to the Selected items.
- Click the Add button.
- Click the Modify button.
