Updates are only available for licensed Policy Servers with an active Maintenance subscription.

Software Management

You can manage system software (Policy Server, Network Sensor, and Agent). Software packages are divided into four parts: name, revision number, product version, and revision date.

Operational Information Data Management

Downloads the latest data from the Genian Update Server.

• Downloads CVE Update Information, information about device vulnerabilities.
• Downloads PI Update Information, data for classifying platform information.
• Downloads Node Information Detection Data, data for collecting platform information.
• Downloads OS Detection Data, data for detecting operating systems.
• Downloads OS Update Information, information about operating system updates.

Configuring Automatic Operational Information Data Update

Set to automatically update the latest data through periodic version checks with the Genian Update Server.

1. Go to Settings in the top panel.
2. In the left Preferences menu, select Other Settings.
3. In Operational Information Data Settings, change the setting value for Auto Update to ON.
4. Click the Modify button.

Manually Updating Operational Information Data

Manually update operational information data to the latest data based on the current time.

1. Go to System in the top panel.
2. In the left Update Management menu, select Operational Information Data.
3. Click the Update button at the top.
