Configuring Network Sensor SSH Service

The Secure Shell (SSH) is a security protocol used to connect to remote hosts. You can control the SSH service function of network sensors.

To configure SSH service activation for the network sensor

  1. Go to System in the top panel
  2. Go to System > System in the left panel.
  3. Select the checkbox for the network sensor settings you want to change.
  4. Select Edit Appliance Settings from the Tasks menu.
  5. In the Security item, select the Enable SSH checkbox and change the setting to ON.
  6. Click Save botton.

To configure SSH service access control for the network sensor

Note

Network sensor Enable SSH must be set to ON.

  1. Go to System in the top panel
  2. Go to System > Sensor in the left panel
  3. Select the checkbox for the network sensor settings you want to change.
  4. Select Edit Network Sensor Settings from the Tasks menu.
  5. In the Miscellaneous item, select the Disable access SSH checkbox and change the setting to ON.
  6. Click Save botton.
