Configuring Compliance Policy

Compliance usually refers to adherence to laws/regulations, legal compliance supervision, or internal control. In NAC, compliance involves creating a target for internal control as a node group and expressing the targets included in that node group.

Note

Compliance policies do not perform endpoint control. For details related to control, please refer to Understanding Access Control Policies.

Creating a Compliance Policy

  1. Go to Policy in the top panel.
  2. In the Policy menu, select Compliance Policy.
  3. In the Tasks menu, click Create.
Item Description
General Sets the ID and description that distinguish the policy.
Condition Settings Specifies node groups related to internal control.

When creating a node group, create it based on conditions related to internal control.

For node group creation and conditions, please refer to Node Group Details.

Checking Compliance Policy Status

You can check information (IP, MAC, User, Compliance Status, Conditions) for targets corresponding to the compliance policy.

  1. Go to Management > Node in the top panel.
  2. In the left Status & Filter menu, select Compliance Policy.
