Configuring Policy Server Connection with Token
Sensor Installation Token
Configure the following environment to ensure that only authorized sensors can connect to the Policy Server.
- Go to Preferences in the top panel.
- In the left General menu, select Node.
- In the Sensor Token tab, change Enable Installation Token to ON.
- Click the Update button.

| Token | This is the token value used with the node-server token command on the sensor device CLI. |
| Token (NAT) | This is the token value used with the node-server token command if the sensor needs to operate in a NAT exception range. |
Note
- If the Use Installation Token feature is enabled, sensors using unauthenticated tokens or not using any token cannot connect to the Policy Server.
- Token information includes Policy Server connection details.
Agent Installation Token
Configure the following environment to ensure that only authorized agents can connect to the Policy Server.
- Go to Preferences in the top panel.
- In the left General menu, select Agent.
- In the General tab, change Enable Installation Token to ON.
- Click the Update button.

| Token | This is the token value used during agent installation. |
| Token (NAT) | This is the token value used during installation if the agent needs to operate in a NAT exception range. |
Note
