Configuring Policy Server Debug
Configure the Policy Server's centerd debug by accessing the CLI console of the individual appliance. Debug settings allow you to preemptively identify problems with the Genian NAC appliance or determine the cause of issues if they occur. Configuring debug in the CLI console is done as follows:

Policy Server debug settings are not supported in the web console; they must be configured in CLI mode.
Targets for Debug Configuration in CLI Console

| centerd | This item configures debug for the Policy Server. |
| sensord | This item configures debug for the Network Sensor. |
| vrrpd | This item configures VRRP debug related to redundancy. |
Configuring Network Sensor Debug
Debug settings can be used as a means to check the normal operation of the Network Sensor and to identify the cause if problems occur. Network Sensor debug settings can be configured in the Policy Server Web Console.
Note
Network Sensor debug settings configured in the Web Console are applied with the highest priority.
